Build it up again
So, yesterday was the day. I build in the new hardware into the G5 and do the cable management. All fits well – so far – not as I mentioned, but it fits 😀
After I finished the hardware configuration, I do a testrun if all components are recognized by the machine and all works well so far. The bios showed all RAM, CPU and FANs. The temperatures of the CPU and the case / mainboard are OK and the G5 is really quiet. Also the original front panel is working well.
Now I have to do all Software related stuff… I´m happy so far and keep ya posted 😀
